Nội dung

Xây dựng, cơ sở hạ tầng là phần thường hay gặp trong IELTS Listening. Hôm nay chúng ta luyện chủ đề này với từ vựng và bài nghe nhé.

Chủ đề Infrastructure (Cơ sở hạ tầng) thường xuất hiện trong Part 2 và 4, đặc biệt hay bẫy về số, vị trí, kế hoạch thay đổi...mà người nghe cần lưu tâm. 

Part 2 thường gặp chủ đề này nhất với các bối cảnh quen thuộc như: 

- Nói về dự án xây dựng nào đó với hệ thống cầu đường, công viên, khu đô thị, khu dân cư...

- Kế hoạch xây dựng công ty, phát triển dân cư, khu đô thị... 

- Thông báo của local council / community meeting

- Giới thiệu Public facilities mới

Ví dụ như là: Road expansion project, New railway line / metro system, Housing development, Renovation of public spaces....

Các dạng câu hỏi ở Part 2 là: Map / Plan labeling , Note completion, Matching information và thỉnh thoảng có Multiple Choice. Cần cẩn thận với bẫy về vị trí, chỉ đường, thay đổi kế hoạch... 

Infrastructure cũng hay gặp trong Part 4. Khi đó bài nghe sẽ nghe về các hoạt động học thuật liên quan đến cơ sở hạ tầng, xây dựng: 

- Lecture về urbanisation, transport infrastructure, public services

- Phân tích tác động kinh tế – xã hội – môi trường của hạ tầng

Ví dụ: Development of transport networks, Infrastructure and economic growth, Sustainable urban infrastructure

Dạng câu hỏi hay gặp như: Summary / Note completion, Table completion, Flow-chart, Sentence completion

Một số bẫy trong Part 2 như là giá cả, năm, phần trăm tỉ lệ... Kèm theo đó là paraphase cần chú ý.

Ngoài Part 2,4 thì Infrastructure thỉnh thoảng xuất hiện trong Part 3 (sinh viên + tutor bàn về assignment liên quan quy hoạch đô thị / giao thông / nhà ở) và hiếm gặp ở Part 1, chỉ lướt qua trong đăng ký dịch vụ, không phải chủ đề chính.
